Coachella 2017

A recap of my Coachella: what I wore & who I saw

I had such a great time this year at Coachella Weekend 1! With bigger tents and new layout, they expanded the grounds allowing an additional 20,000 attendees, the hype was REAL. I am not one who likes big crowds and was able to get an artist guest pass through one of my close family friends. It transformed my whole experience which was exactly what I was hoping for during my seventh Coachella.

Who I Saw

Listening to live music and dancing carefree is one of my favorite things in life. Each year I try to see someone I haven't seen in hopes to become a new fan. This year, I saw Hanz Zimmer and it was remarkable. If you are not familiar with Hanz Zimmer, he is a composer who is accompanied by a 70+ person orchestra and I couldn't take my eyes of the stage, I love the drama that all the intruments and their players contributed. I also loved seeing one of my favorite DJs, Nora en Pure. She played in the Yuma which has strobe lights and disco balls and I danced with my two best friends. Over all, I tried to see as many performances as I could. Ranging from rap to dance music, these were my favorites:

Mura Masa, Future, Travis Scott, Nora en Pure, Two Door Cinema Club, Lorde, and Solomon.
