My Morning Routine

Most mornings I am abruptly woken from my sleep by the alarm I set for myself the night before (It's not as bad as it sounds LOL). I am a morning person and really enjoy my quiet time and try to make the most of it. I usually start my mornings between 7-8am throughout the work week (Monday - Friday). I’m not perfect so my routine does change, here is my current morning routine!


I slowly make my way out of bed and go straight to my Nespresso to make myself a Vanilla Almond Milk Latte. Sounds super fancy, but I just get the Vanilla Almond Milk from Whole Foods and put about 8 ounces in the milk frother that came with my Nespresso. I make one shot of espresso using the dark purple capsules and pour the milk in.

I crawl back in my bed and slowly drink my coffee in silence. This is so important to me. I cherish being able to work from home and get up with no pressure to be in an office at a certain time. I do however, hold myself accountable to work and do something productive everyday. To say I wake up thirsty is an understatement.. I wake up PARCHED, so I also will have almost 2 glasses of water during this time too. After a solid 10 minutes, I grab my laptop to start answering emails that either came in the night before or that I can't answer on my phone. This usually takes me about twenty to thirty minutes!

I get up (the hardest part) brush my teeth and wash my face with cold water, I don’t put any product on if I am going to a workout class because I don’t like the way it feels if I’m sweating. If I’m not going to a workout class, I use Goop Under Eye Cream and the Superscreen Moisturizer with SPF which I am absolutely obsessed with. It’s a perfect primer for a glowey makeup look too!

I probably should eat something before I work out, but sometimes the latte is filling and other timesI honestly prefer working out in a fasted state. . Living in New York it was a whole process just to go to my favorite workouts. It would be freezing in the mornings and I didn’t have a car, I would literally have to wear a big sweatshirt and then a jacket over my workout clothes and by the time I got to the class, I would already be sweating from the walk! Luckily, now I’m back in LA and I barely have to wear a light jacket to go to a workout. My current favorite places to workout at are: Platefit, Carrie’s Pilates Plus, Soul Cycle, and Rumble Boxing.
